there is a sickening issue at the core of this game and it needs sorting

one camera angle in tonight's game roosters v dogs.....and it sums everything up: that tall dorky ref (not Sutton) well his entire face lit up, not once but twice when Cronk spoke to him during the game....would that EVER be seen in the EPL for example? no. why? because the EPL refs are professional and NOT overawed and WILL NEVER BE EVEN SLIGHTLY INFLUENCED by interacting with star players during an EPL match. it's really embarrassing. do these NRL refs not get ANY training in handling high profile players in a match situation?
