Really hard this year @Mark from Brisbane - teams are much closer in ability (even Dogs and Tigers). I actually don't think Panthers will do that well this season.

Manly wise, we have a soft draw. We are injury free (besides Croker). We have depth. I think we'll end up in a similar spot tbh. Tussling for that 7th - 8th spot.

I think I predicted is coming 11th last year. But, despite my concern, Siebold improved in absolutely every single metrics. If we can get another day 5-10%, that's another 2-3 wins, putting us close to top 4.

I have the Dogs in my top 8, but I think there’s a chance they could flop. Last year’s improvement was off the back of effort, more so than talent. Sometimes teams that have to push for everything, can get mentally fatigued and the Gus/Ciraldo regime is pretty intense.

I’ll back them to make the 8, but I think they’re vulnerable to a sudden collapse.

Points differential will probably change my top 4, the order could even change but I’ll stick with the top 4 teams and composition of the 8, with the Knights to pick up their 5th spoon. Be very happy if I’ve got it completely wrong, as I want Manly in there, unfortunately just couldn’t find them the wins. My most uncertain call is the Donkeys, be very happy if they mess it up and the boldest call, obviously the Tig’s.

So we drop out of the 8 after getting in last year , and making it through the first week??

I know some other sides , on paper , look to have improved , but I don’t think we have regressed , if anything we’ve slightly improved.

To me it’s going to be one of the most fascinating parts of season 25.

Logic suggests they must go backwards.

BUT

From what we saw the other night their “ system “ extends right down the line , so lose one ( or two ) no worries just move one or two up and it’s “ same same”.
