Very impressive indeed. There is no doubt Jake holds our middle together and his value to the side. Now his speed has dropped off he needs to find a way to be effective with the ball in hand. Early in his career he had a great offload but has been coached out of him.
Seibs always bangs on about using our “weapons”. I feel we need to bring the offloads back into our team with Jake, Hmole Peseka, Toff, Brown and Taukeiaho all capable. We would destroy sides with some second phase play.

Personally feel Jake is on VERY big money compared with to other "quality " lock forwards , but will say 1 thing.
There are certain players that as a team mate, you look for on the field who you know will have your back 100%, not because they are great players, simply all heart....Jake fits this category everyday and to have a bloke like that for training, leadership and a pillar to build a team around (especially youngsters) is priceless.
I spent a fair bit of time with him and that nice guy vibe, high energy buzz ....it's all real

Jake makes lots of tackles because he has lots if stamina
Jake is an 80 minute tackling machine
I dont see him as an Impact forward off the Bench
Jake has the ability to bend a players spine in defence but he does not have the ability to bend the line in attack and his ball playing has been underused under Seibold.
Under Seibold Jake has become a one dimensional player.

He has done both in the last 5 years but not as reliably as he did in the 5 before that.

Not withstanding this impressive stat for Jake , just in regard to the reference of off loads , think it could be more a case of the Manly forwards or the defensive line in general being able to prevent or restrict them in many games .
Just seem to have a real problem sometimes managing this and then just creating additional pressure on a set defensive line or the next play .
Maybe still more of an emphasis on quick play the balls and trying to gain some momentum then putting a bit of focus on off loads though certainly can be a benefit and especially with some of Manly 's good individual broken field runners to manage the occasional off load

Quicker speed of the ruck in recent seasons probably has contributed to Jake being not as effective in direct running or breaking tackles but would think even on the lower side before the increased ruck tempo .
Understandable trade off between his high tackle efficiency and pretty average ability to bend the line or having much impact ,
Still not bad with support play, ball playing and the extra one percenters and even in a slightly limited capacity , still up to S O O level with his all round play
