A really big chance to set up a finals run here, there isn’t an easy game in the NRL but there isn’t any reason why we shouldn’t be entering those games with an even chance and troops rolling back in throughout those weeks

With dce and turbo coming back in that time frame i think we can win all those games. Titans are a bit of a bogey team for us, imho we can win 4 of those games. Panthers will have baloney back as well... hmmm

Jake is going to be a massive loss for us. He gets a lot of plaudits but he is simply super human - in the top 3 forwards in the game for mine with Burgess and Taumalolo.

I have been massively impressed with his on field disposition as captain too - he has every reason to blow up today but he kept his head. Freaking legend!.

A month or so ago I would have been worried about playing games without these blokes but with them being out injured these replacements have given me confidence.
Jake will be missed and hard to replace but we should be well and truly in the top 8 after origin.

Rif worries the most though, I know they are sh1t at the moment but they tend to aim up for us and the will put one or two games together sooner or later. Timing worries the bejeeeesus outa me

I agree, and the best part about it is that Waddell has earned it. The only other thing I can think of is Marty or Siro to 13, but I doubt Des would want to tinker too much. I reckon Waddell is a chance of going the full 80 minutes too, seems to have a good motor.

Thats true hes a gun i really like him. I hope Thompson stays hes playing very well this year and consistently but i would understand if he left for a payday in England
