Captain Moondog
Absolute Superstar
Same concert, the video is crap quality but the music makes up for it...
Seen this guy a few times. I saw him at the Town Hall in Sydney with Bert Jansch the first time, great concert.
Love that fuzz guitar.I have a heap of Link Wray albums ... talk about lost souls ... gospel mountain boy finds himself in San Francisco sharing a house with John Cipollina .... haha

Yeah me too, I was sitting in the front row....I think he'd released Solid Air just before he came out here, great album.I was there too at the first concert .... I liked his style much more than Bert

Barn Jam - Garcia Cipollina Melton Lesh Hart Freibergand speaking of John Cipollina ....
I didn't get into folk straight away either. I guess Richard Thompson was the first guy in that genre that impressed me.Yes I appreciated much more later on .... I think it was Pentangle that coloured my appreciation ... that old english folky stuff didn't appeal ... I was a blues rock man only at the time (well mostly)
Damn!Vanilla Fudge, in all their pompous, dramatic, overblown, psuedo operatic glory....
