AO: Nicholas Edward CAVE

For distinguished service to the performing arts as a musician, songwriter, author and actor, nationa4dc4ee4ecc94318960663a15cb7a39ed
a major contributor to Australian music culture and heritage.

NOT only is he Warracknabeal’s most successful export, Nick Cave is also one of Australia’s most internationally revered musicians.

Cave’s stellar career started in Melbourne’s nihilistic punk scene in the late 70s with the Boys Next Door, best known for the angst-anthem Shivers.

To be honest I like the idea of Nick Cave more then I like his albums. He's to be commended for exposing people his influences but it sort of reminds me of The Pogues second hand music.

Some of the gigs in the 90's with the full band were legendary.
Speaking of the Pogues this is a little uncomfortable

A test for all those that call themselves "old" Manly boys. Was remembering glory days and this song came on.. Where does it remind you of.
