I agree! I mean I saw inxs in Brisbane one year (ratcat opened for them) but somehow it just wasn't the same....probably (I've never been to Wembley.)

I used to watch them at Narrabeen Antler till they started charging $2 to get in.

Aussies from the 80's. Great time in Australian music. You know, in 10 years time we'll be able to make 1000 "one hit wonders" playlists from current bands/singers. There is a new "artist" unleashed upon us daily, so they never get a chance to imbed themselves in our psyche.

These bands played for years in tiny pubs and clubs before hitting the big time, so they paid their dues and earned their right to fame. These days, you just need to film yourself in your own house with a guitar and put it up on you tube to become famous.

Anyway...the 80's were pretty good!

The Hard-Ons were an Aussie rock band formed in 1981. Here they teamed up with Henry Rollins. Great song! Peter Black on guitar was bloody good!!
