We had to play it today. The Dogs were all over us for most of it and we had to hang in there to wait for the Dogs to give up.

Plenty of heart and guts in that win. An all-time great win!

Nobody even mentioned that we were down by 10 twice. Fantastic to see them overcome that today.
Lehi take a bow. They monstered him all day and the kid kept coming.

The best they could do was smash the smallest guy on the field, but yes, he never let it faze him, and he found a way to get us a very important try before half-time.

Great, gutsy win that could be the making of this side.

I think early on the Scumgarglers, sorry…Dishlickers, were on the same gear the Malteser, aka Mr Xerri, has been supplying to Ash Joddo-Carr. Luckily for Buchinski* Xerri, he wasn’t behind the wheel that night. Otherwise it could be ‘career over’.

As James Ellroy might say, the Mulberries looked ‘hepped up’ to the max, especially players like Belrose dissident ‘Mullet Skull’ Preston, ‘Ma Honey’, the Dishonourable Crichton and any number of other flogs you could name.
