Turbo is shopping himself if you believe the media reports. We have not shopped him at all & in fact have offered a 3 year deal.

Honestly what we are seeing right now is the 'Bozo is gone' effect. He had so much sway within the club tools like Penn didn't dare step over the line. But as soon as he Passed that barrier was gone and look at us now.

There’s a good deal of “ agenda driven “ posts happening , presenting opinions as almost like fact.

I’ve noticed that many of them are members who have been strongly in the previous Captain’s camp, and are justifying their thoughts that he was very unfairly treated by Mestrov & Seibold by suggesting the sky is falling ( all due to the above two men).

And , why the Chaser left , well that may in fact be true , but in my opinion what transpired very much fits the Chaser’s usual MO.

One thing I always say , it’s my opinion , I don’t have the facts ( no one on here does) 99.99% of opinions on here are driven by media information, and despite what some think I believe very very little out of the mouths of people like Danny the Wanker , who at best is nothing better than a gossip columnist , and at worst is driven totally by the income derived from “ click bait “.

And notice now that the finals are here , everything regarding Manly has dropped off , that’s because we were just “ fillers “ for the slow days in between.

I don’t watch NRL360 , or read the Telegraph any more , it’s mostly utter garbage anyway.

What’s smart about polarising your own club’s fans 3 rounds into the season?

What’s smart about making his announcement on 100% Footy & talking about a smear campaign after a club game & about himself when interviewed in SOO camp, then refusing to answer any questions about his future later in the season?

I can understand liking a player (I was a fair fan of DCE’s up until his announcement too) but to wax his carrot & try to rewrite the narrative to make it about what a smart operator he is is laughable.

The bloke has just about done everything wrong when it comes to PR in his career.

Others have already pointed out the other fallacies in your post but I’ll remind you that the suggestion that DCE wasn’t happy being coached by Seibold doesn’t fly with me for these reasons:

1. He’s shown his love of $$$ several times in his career before;
2. He was perfectly happy to be coached by Barrett, who has a worse win/loss ratio than Seibold;
3. He acted like the loser in a transaction when he went on 100% Footy to make his announcement - it was pure sour grapes & a transparent attempt to get in front of any rumours circulating that the club hadn’t made him an offer, something that would have been very quickly justified with his sudden slump in form, which also resulted in him losing his QLD captaincy.
4. He lowered himself to going to Danny Weidler to get his side of the story out. Ewwwww 🥴
