The Haumole Bible.

We've got him till 2031... Awesome stuff.

Unlike Jake, this man is athletic as hell too. His contract is far less likely to bite us in the arse long-term because of that, and if anything, we get him on unders (900k) for the best part of his career.

I think he'll finish up in the #13. He's developing some nice ball-playing that'll suit him there, but while he's breaking through with the speed of an outside back, he's an edge every day of the week, and in my opinion, the best individual one in the comp. You could put him next to any half, and he'd be just as dangerous. Can't say that about some others out there.

Love this photo of Kitey presenting the jersey on Ola's debut and it was against the sharks

That was a great debut, there was something about him back then, poor old Dessie going for JetSki after that debut was hard to fathom back then.

If he can convince his Tongan team mate in Katoa to join from the Dolphins that would make a great week!

Manly should entice any 7 with that. You’ll be playing inside Ola, the best body guard around. I’m hopeful DCE stays in the nrl and he gets a taste of being on the receiving end of Ola instead of slipping him a pass.

Have noticed the last two weeks the lack of early ball Haumole is getting on the right edge, DCE is not using him effectively in the opposition 20, all that early ball today and nothing executed.

I would like to see him on the left edge occasionally when they are attacking in the opposition 20.

It could also be the case that it is in Seibolds game plan to use Haumole as a decoy runner as well

A bloke like Haumole all you need to do is get him early ball or put him in a one on one situation and you get points, the lack of ball playing and creativity from the halves is below par.

I agree with you feathered friend
But as I said It could be in the coaches game plan to use Haumole as a Decoy as well

That game was probably the worst game I have seen Haumole play.

I don’t think he will get selected for Origin one, playing outside of DCE he is almost guaranteed to be playing in round 12 against the Eels.

I know Brooks is an easy target for fans, personally I think he’s been very good at Manly, but I believe Olakau’atu would be more affective playing outside Brooks than DCE.Brooks runs to the line and either dummies and goes himself, looks to play in behind a decoy by,currently BenT,or tries to put the back rower through a gap.DCE runs sideways and cramps Olakau’atu or gives it to him to be a battering ram, which won’t work out in the long run for his body

The DCE-Haumole combo has always been virtually non-existent, and also to the detriment of Haumole's game.

In attack, he is squandered, and in defending our try line, our flog of a 7 often leaves an impossible 15m space between he and his second rower for Haumole to cover, as the headless chook sh*ts his pants and rushes out of the line. (Obviously, a self-inflicted opening also occurs between DCE and Garrick, who has to somehow mind read what his captain will do, yet it's Garrick who gets blamed.) However, recently I've see Haumole get burned on the outside, with DCE nowhere near, several metres up and out. This is before the ball has even made it past the ruck! DCE leaving will do wonders for Haumole.

I’ve been saying this for years. Koula was the best option to play on the right because he has the speed to push up for DCE’s obnoxious dart out the line trip attempts and get back to support Saab on the wrap arounds. I also recall the combination between Schmole and Foz building a lethal combination in DCE’s absence. Oh well only a couple more games then onto planning for next year. The best thing we can do as a team is to hire a new defence coach, if we can sure up our defensive issues our attack will come natural.

I wouldn’t even be opposed to putting Lehi at #1 and turbo at #14. Build a defensive unit around Lehi and bring Tom on for 15/20 mins a half once teams get tired. Will mean our incoming #7 will only need to play high percentage plays annd focus on building a combo with Schmole. Also gives Tom less time on the field which hopefully prevents injuries and prolongs his career. Once renegotiating time comes pay Turbo a #14’s wage and give Lehi the FB upgrade.

Who knows, once the club ‘de-Cherrifies’, the ‘Brookau’atu thing’ might come to pass (bit of a pun there).
