The Haumole Bible.

Great to see him selected, hope he's got plenty of strapping on that shoulder!

Meanwhile... watching Duck filling in over the last couple of weeks, and several times making some metres back on the inside...
it's a common backrower running line (I think Siro used to do almost exclusively) but I don't recall Haumole doing it much? or just my memory perhaps?
His runs are usually straight ahead into at least 3 defenders. Any reason for the difference?

People love to bag Cory out but one thing he does really well is play the ball really quickly. Most of those runs you pointed out were 5th tackle plays before a kick, which have been working. The majority of haumoles runs are earlier in the count aimed more at the opposing half which is usually straight ahead of him.

Yeah don’t know easier in hindsight I guess but maybe the medical team that cleared him need to have a walk into the room of mirrors I reckon his managers going to start agitating for a release soon to join a proper team

Personally I think he shouldn't have been back until at least next week. I thought that when I saw he'd been selected, but there was SFA anyone like myself could do so it was shrug the shoulders (pardon the pun) and hope for the best.

We got the worst, literally.

I'm no medico by any stretch of the imagination, but the fact that the shoulder went again from just a routine tackle shows that he really shouldn't have been out there. Not yet anyway.

Playing him today was clearly a gamble that backfired big time for both Haumole and the team.

If you think taking an extra week would have changed anything you are wrong. As Peter said it could have happened again at any moment until surgery just like Cleary’s last year

Then why play him at all?? He's a back rower who is involved in a lot more of the physical stuff than Cleary is at halfback. If it could happen again at any moment, which it did ... isn't that playing with fire??

Worst of all. Seibold said in tonight's pressr that medical staff said there was a 90% chance Haumole re-injures his shoulder.
I decided to take the calculated risk.

Yes, he is now out for the rest of the season.

Why play him? Because he is our best player & we are trying to make finals id guess. I’m sure if they knew it would happen he wouldn’t have played but there was no way of knowing

Waddell and Burbo our only edge players now. WTF is our pathetic recruitment dept. doing for fu*ksake. I mean seriously, we have 7 mids of which 2 are chronically injured, 2 are over the hill , 2 are butt average and only Bullemore and Jazz whose playing at hooker. Then only 3 edge players relying wholly on Olakau'atu. The recruitment is a fu*king disaster in this club.

Don’t forget Shuster’s $800k contract we’re still contributing towards.

Siebold stated in the presser medical advice indicated there was a 90% chance of reinjury. Pretty damming statistics for the Siebold supporters

Seems like the shoulder was a ticking time bomb until surgery anyway so I guess the bomb just went off early. Hopefully he can get right for next year.
