Thanks Dragons, thanks Broncos, thanks judiciary (finally); the suspension of cam smith meant grapples miraculously disappeared from storm games in the final 2 weeks of the year. I don't think I've seen them or even their absence mentioned here or in the press. There's something to be said for making an example of someone.

I still think way too much holding down was allowed on sunday, but that didn't stop the floodgates opening eventually.

Let's hope they don't creep back into the game next year. If the storm or anyone want to slow manly down, they'll have to do it the hard way.....good luck to them if they can manage it.

St george really led the way with that game where Ryles was sent off - they started to stagger then and had the wobbles by the time Warriors beat them (Broncos should have).  We delivered the greatest knock out punch of all
