I'll say it again, behaviour of some Manly 'supporters' has become so rude and hostile and unacceptable that I, and many others, would prefer to watch it on TV.
And thanks for another brilliant report.
Love those boys.

There's an element of fools in every supporter base, unfortunately. We've probably all witnessed varying levels of it but its a shame its so bad you feel uncomfortable not coming to a game. the positives are so much bigger than a few negatives. Not sure what you've been scarred by but I'm sure the club would take any sort of complaint very seriously and also be sensitve to the need to be discreet. You should let them know.

 

[The Who]

I've sat on the hill for Manly matches for the past 50 years and two things really annoy me:
1. Foul mouth supporters (yell and scream all you want but don't laden it with childish obsenities. Grow up)
2. Spectators who get up during play, blocking views, to either get something to eat or drink. Surely you can go 40-minutes without food/drink. Get prepared before the start of the match and at half-time - not while the action is on.

In spite of these two minor irritations I still love the Hill. I'm particularly hoping for the same 'electric' atmosphere when we play Strom in round 25 that ingnited the Brookie biffol of 2011.
