The good news out of that win

Yeah we weren't even in 3rd gear and couldn't buy a penalty and we still pumped them. I still think top 4 might be too much to ask but we absolutely needed to win today (and the next 2 weeks) to keep up the pressure.

The return of Api is a big bonus. He was strong in defence and made a couple of probing runs.
This allowed Fainu to have a bit more space and he brained them again.
The combination is a winner, and gives us an edge over other teams.
There is another good hooker at Manly - Docker-Clay. He was the best player in the Workers today and is a really busy, creative hooker. I guess if Api leaves, which I hope he won't, then it will give Docker-Clay a path into First Grade as a back-up to Fainu. If Api stays then I'd imagine he'll look for a chance at another club.

Played how I was expecting us too, a bit tired and flat, we stoked to come away with the win

DCE intercept showed how tired they are, hopefully Des gives them til Tuesday or Wednesday off

Apparently running for 183 metres puts him in the poor category. Hard markers here.

You are the first person to use the term poor.....at least in this thread.

Nobody is bagging Tom, he is the jewel in our crown.

He just didnt have HIS best game today. But his best game is so ridiculously good that his quieter games are still way above average.

Anyway this is a positive thread about about us thumping a team when not in 5th gear so lets leep it positive
