Head butting is now an offence that warrants just a fine, what a bloody gutless response from the NRL!!!
Didn’t Hudson Young come up with blood streaming out of his nose or was that another tackle. As far as Heads butts go I think the late Hulk Hogan would be proud of Reece as it was a theatrical soft head push at best complemented by Hudson young’s backward dive. The NRL has actually got it right for once.

No mate definitely not! As another poster has mentioned it was Smithies. As I said there was more theatre in this so called head butting as opposed to impactful contact. The sin bin and the fine are appropriate punishments imo.Didn’t Hudson Young come up with blood streaming out of his nose or was that another tackle.
The only positive that has ever come from a bunker is Hitler's remains.I'll never believe that the ball was tipped forward for that final 'try'. At least 50% of viewers would agree with me. When it's that close, surely it goes with the onfield decision rather than the fanciful opinion of someone looking at a screen, just like the rest of us.
If only lol!Young should've just pulled Ladyboys jersey over his head and flogged the F out of him.
100%
And that News Ltd really REALLY want a Donkey / Drizzle final.
Dead set , the Raiders lost every call last night.
Since when does a player get sent to the bin for celebrating a mistake by his opposition player ??
Since when does a headbutt not result in a send off ??
And seriously that try the pulled back in extra time , the benefit of any doubt should go to the attacking side , it didn’t and that cost them the game.
Clearly I’m no Raiders fan but looking at that game without bias I reckon they were more than hard done by.
Fair pointsThe Raiders were minor premiers, got the timeslot that their coach wanted, were playing at home, with most of their squad fresh because they were rested last week, won the penalty count on Sunday, led by 16 points with 14 minutes remaining in regular time (having scored 2 tries in the sin bin period)... but still lost.
If they have to rely on bunker calls (both in my opinion were correct and were acknowledged as such by the commentators on both 9 and Fox) to win with all of those advantages, then they need to look at themselves.
