Interested on some thoughts here.

Matai will be flogged for the pass, not the sharpest move, but also, where was Robertson in the play ? I saw him on the replay about 10m back, if he was in the proper position of a winger he scores untouched

Matai shoulda looked probably, heat of the moment thing

All round it was a poor effort from the side today

He should not have passed the ball unless he heard a call from Robbo or looked to see him there. No none to blame but Matai imo, even if he didnt score we would have still had the ball and got another crack at them.

Matai would have scored - the tackle was less than a metre from the line and with body height and momentum he was in for sure. No Probs with Robbo - as the ball had gone inside.

Look at BK blew up at - it wasn't the winger!

Except Robbo was lazy. What was he ever going to achieve 10m behind the play.

Seemed to be a stupid move by Matai but Robbo should of been up, I guess they practice those moves. BK did blow up deluxe though.

I think I made the right call on Matai at the Roosters trial.

I reckon the players do read this forum. Matai has been hounded continuosly for not passing to his wingman (i agree with everyone on this) and the one time he should have gone on his own..... he passes - damn it!! :doh: :doh:
