The difference between 21 - 22 and what now for 23?

Maybe for this off-season we just need 2 mega threads?
One for "Future looks Bleak" and one for "Just need a bit of luck for a change"

Just one , with it swinging between those who think 1) and those who think 2).

In 2021 the PV game coincided with our boys bunking down together in QLD and being tight knit. This coupled with Turbo's stella form, the great form of our backrowers (Big O and Schu) which IMO veiled a lot of our shortcomings, put us on a roll. In 2022 the game slowed and teams started to easily shut Turbo down in the early rounds before he was injured. Our poor structures, absence of game management and Turbos injury brought to the fore our deficiencies, namely lack of structure, lack of systems, lack of composure, lack of respect for possession, no line speed in defence, no commitment in defence and a lack of fitness. Then added to that was Schuster's delayed return from injury, Des not giving Schuster game time, Des at war with those that and been involved in the development of these players over many years and the division within the playing squad. Injuries were just further nails into the coffin. Finally the jersey gate debacle which was the straw that completely broke the camel's back.

These problems wont just fix themselves with Turbo's return. We didn't go forward at all in 2022 and from round 1 we looked like a poorly coached team that had regressed from their 2021 form and apart from a couple of good performances this season it was very very ordinary season indeed.

Big changes are required. The coach needs to focus on coaching and forget club politics. The club from top to bottom needs to start working cohesively and to the same master plan. Personal agendas and and egos are a recipe for implosion. Time to excise the problems.
