Ridiculous! Koula, Lehi, TKO, Bully etc. had far better seasons than DCE! Absolute joke that he’s the only Manly player deemed our best.
Its getting to the point, whatever happens it needs looking into.
There is no way DCE does what he did in publicly rejecting the club and leaving 1.6mil on the shelf without something lined up.
Now he is either a bit silly if he has gone on Uncle Nicks word and has now be burnt but I dont take him for silly.
Just logically I think there was/is a big deal lined up at the Roosters and if that now turns into a modest deal elsewhere or a 500k deal at Bondi then there needs to be a look into the back channel money flowing into DCEs pocket.
I dont care what anyone says, no way DCE leaves himself a milkion short no matter how much he hates Seibs or Mestrov

Whilst I'm going two things on this ongoing DCE v Fogarty comparision.
1) The discussion has to be on potential impact or performance in 2026 and 2027 (We offered Daly a 2 year deal). What they have done previously matters little. Of course DCE has been better but will at 37 he continue to be.
2) Even then is a moot point, DCE dumped us, we didnt ditch him so we have dont the best to fill that gap till hopefully Walsh takes control

Not really. We were mostly crap. And we were entirely crap when it really mattered.
Thats how I saw us this year along with my football loving mates. Seibs didn't see it that way though. He saw us as winning 50 percent of our games, which according to him will usually see a team playing (or getting smashed in week one of the) finals. Funny, there was no mention of the preseason mantra "breaking out of the cluster." Maybe next year's mantra will be "rejoining the cluster."

At the moment, we are a cluster-f#ck.
Yeah a whole squad full of guys who weren't putting in after their captain and second highest paid player told the club to go and get f**ked after round two. Total mystery as to what could have caused that 🤔.
I certainly couldn't possibly see how a humble bloke and a good clubman stepping in at 7 could improve the squad's performances...
