The Cowboys are an enigma

Whilst I agree it was a lucky and undeserved win, the Cowboys are an enigma.

They are the most under performed team of the last five years. They've had a good roster, good coaching, are a one team town.

Any finals tilt they have comes on the back of a run of wins that comes after the horse has bolted.

You can sing Thurston's praises all you want but he's been up there for about 50 years and has had everything put around him to succeed and hasn't delivered.

I think the more salient point is their roster is in fact pretty ordinary and to be honest has always been overrated..Tamou is a one year wonder,Scott plays well in origin and that's about it,the back row is ordinary,the halfback is a joke,the centres lack pace. and their wingers need a butterfly net.Throw in the fact that the fullback is a half back and you get a side that is plain ordinary.
