The Clean Out 2025 Edition

Jazz to start at 13, Bully and Tak starting props, Jake and Brown/Spiley rotation. Hoppa fullback and Turbo 14 to add spark. Read Mahoney next year to start at hooker with Crocker off the bench to play second hooker and middle of needed.

Disco from another thread likes this recruitment choice for Manly

After watching that performance from Cherry, I also want him out.

What happened to giving his all for the club and his teammates for his final hurrah?

Whether he likes it or not, he is the captain of this club. And he was completely disinterested and disconnected out there.
Perhaps the question we should be asking is why. This guy has done it all. Has put in for numerous coaches and has always busted his arse for the club.
Why has it all unravelled so quikly? Mestrov? Seibold?
I very much doubt its just about money. He could have gone at any point in the last 3 years when he was playing much better.
Im sure most of you will say it's the cash but it doesn't fit right. Something doesn't add up and it's a real shame.
And to put it into perspective you could drop Cleary into this side and he would struggle at the moment. Something stinks and it feels like it's just beginning of something bigger.

Yes, it does feel like there is further unravelling to come, but everyone seems like they have deer in the headlights syndrome and are seemingly powerless to avert course. Someone needs to do something or we are wooden spoon certs.

Yeah, I doubt it's just about one thing as well. I don't know any more than anyone else and can only speculate. But he's clearly unhappy and it's affecting the team.

Watching the press conference after the game last night, I actually felt sorry for him, even though I believe the situation he finds himself in is largely of his own making. He looks confused, and out of ideas - and that's sitting next to Seibold, who on top of looking confused and out of ideas also looks like a man beginning to realise that his one shot at rugby league redemption is quickly slipping away.

Cherry has lost his Origin spot, lost the Queensland captaincy, his Manly team is hopeless, and his form is terrible. And then he has to answer questions about reports the Roosters have lost interest, probably because he's playing like reheated arse.

This year could have gone so very differently. But he invited the circus to town, and now he's getting trampled by the elephants.

The most affective clean out starts with the mediocre at the top
Who are these Mediocre people ?
The ones in charge on and off the field
The owner . The CEO , The head coach .
They are the main decision makers .
They All make the Manly bed and the club lies on it as we lie in mediocrity in the middle of the ladder and falling .
They are also that ones that are accountable for extending our clubs decade of premiership wining decline

The fact is that an Organizations Greatest assets are the Great People the Great Mentors and Great Leaders that the club Invests in
and Until we do what the Bulldogs have done and start Investing wisely
We will remain and continue to remain in our long premiership winning Wilderness

Drop an atomic bomb on the place and start again
We need a Gus style clean out at the club, from the Top down. Seibs, Dymock and all the aging forward need to be let go. Unlike other teams that are rebuilding, we do not have any players we can promote from reserve grade, so we are screwed. To say I am heartbroken with the way my club is going is an understatement.

Absolutely no heart/passion shown by these players and now we have lost Haumole which does not help. I am praying our proud club does not win our first wooden spoon this year.

Tevanga, Taukeiaho, and Croker are part of the symptoms ( ageing rejects) that need to be cleared out of Manly.
