Too many old legs plying their trade and just hoping to get another year rather than any real ambition and designs or competing and winning not enough young hunger in the team

We need to jettison with extreme predjudice, the current crop can’t cut it. Why wait , it’s a shame we have made so many boneheaded recruitment and retention decisions it is going to be an expensive excerise. But I can’t see any other option

My thoughts with Garrick and Koula is they would attract the right money without having to pay freight, I think you would be paying heavy freight on Jake for another club to take on.

That three year NRL deal on Waddell is astonishing, maybe a three year train and trial deal I would have thought.

We need better forwards, something has to change with the older ageing forwards we have in the 30 man squad.

I genuinely think Croker may be medically retiring soon. I've been a fan of him, gutsy player, something we lack everywhere else. He's big on education, and I actually think he would make a good coach.

I think the rebuild couldn't come sooner. The Trbojevic contracts are two years too long, and the DCE contract was one year too long.

2026/2027 (kind of)

1. Hoppa - the future
2. Saab - He's improved consistently
3. Talau - puts in, solid, low cost performer
4. Turbo - 🤷‍♂️
5. Garrick - consistent, I actually like him at centre, but has to move for Turbo.
6. Large - right side gun to replace DCE next year. Who gives a crap, blood him.
7. Walsh - left sided manager to ease into first grade until he's ready to replace Brooks.
8. Paseka - We miss him massively.
9. Ashton Large - I think he's the best player we've had coming through since Turbo. Probably still too young. Muagututia and Simpkin in the meantime.
10. Haas - self-explanatory
11. Olakau'atu - self-explanatory

How tf are you willing to get rid of Koula? If we were talented enough to execute a single set play he would be one of the best in ball players in the game. He is our better centre of Garrick

Clean out priorities

1. Club owner who doesn’t get rugby league or even live in Australia (is Delmege still on the beaches)
2. Our coach (Was 2V really that bad in the scheme of things?)
3. The CEO who has a better relationship with the Journos than the team (stop leaking ****)
3. A captain who literally doesn’t want to be there and has made that known, not to mention is current in fights with our CEO
4. Our whole forward pack (apart from the Bull and Schmole)
5. Garrick back to the wing, if he won’t play there then f**k off, no one is bigger than the club
6. Anyone in the backline that refuses to put in when we are on the back foot or without Daddy Turbo

We have attempted to patch the leaking ship since 2011. Now that the #6 who demands halfback money is leaving it’s an opportunity to truely build towards something great. Problem is I don’t think our decision makers know what it takes to be successful, time to put your ego aside and fill the walls with like minded people who want to see us be successful. We haven’t fired a shot since 2013.

We only have two good props in bully and Paseka (injured), one good backrower on Haumole.
One serviceable hooker in Simpkins who is not top notch.
All our problems start with the pack.

Burbo is tuff but average at best.
All our other props should be at best the 4th prop.
Croks won't change anything.
