The back 5

It sets up our forwards to really bash the other team and lets the backrowers run more decoy runs putting the defence in two minds.

We really didn't have a bad player today. And agree the metres from our backs were well up again and even Matt wright had a bit of leg drive again.

We just got to find a way to get more clean, quick ball to Dylan walker. He is quality on his feet and with setting up Aku, but we are not getting the best out of him if we don't give him space to do his thing.

We should be targeting the Tigers leaky left hand side next week. Lane and Dylan should school naiquama and brooks. Cherry should be running traffic at them all arvo.

With Blake back next week, and Penny and Parker remaining in their positions, we have a powerful team that shouldn't be overpowered by anyone. We certainly owe Illawarra a pounding. Those two losses to them need to be avenged. It will probably have to wait until next season because Illawarra will probably miss the eight.

We just need our backs to continue this, and in order to do so we need to keep Parker in the side. Lead by example and had many fast and hard runs, usually straight into napa! He really got the other backs to follow suite and was the ideal replacement for Taufua's hard runs and large work rate of which we've been missing heavily

Should the games go to par, that is should the teams ahead beat all the teams they come up against below them, the final table should look something like this (mind you it never goes as expected so this is just for fun)

Storm 44
Bronks 38
Roosters 36
Sharks 36
Sea Eagles 36
Eels 36
Cowboys 34
Panthers 30
Dragons missing out at 28.

If the table finished in such fashion, for and against will have a major say in 3rd and 4th. The Sea Eagles have the third weakest for and against of the four finishing on 36 but the difference is not great and Manly have the easiest final four matches. Possibly could go down to the wire as they say.

Yes - all dug in...Walker again class - Uate dangerous - Tom T destroying the middle all day - Parker excellent and rewarded with a meat pie
Wright has been a massive surprise, as he continues to get involved and takes a fair few ugly hitups and comes out pretty well...think he capped a double whammy off a Napa/Hargreaves shot and losing the contact, but had the positive mindset top get up and play the ball fast creating some ,momentum to finish the set...

How F*#king great are Uate s runs coming out of our own end. One of if not the best backs in the NRL at those runs.
