The Anthony Seibold Grievances MEGA THREAD

The last 2 clubs he worked at, Raiders and squeels, he's taken to finals. Now with us as well. Might just be coincidence.
So, as a media personality, who part time coaches, he got all those teams to the finals. Well he must be good then.

It’s looking like BA might find his way back to Manly. If it does happen it might suggest we have our eye on Moses to take over from DCE in 2026.

Probably reading between the lines, first Peter gentle, then Brad's ass coach.
Yeah I know, but how well is Arthur settled in over the UK?

Say if Seibold takes the team past this weekend - then next year goes even further into the finals - obviously it gets harder to justify replacing him.

All reports suggest that Penn likes Arthur and has tried to re-secure his services in the past. However would Brad be that keen on returning to a club that has churned through three coaches (before Seibold’s return) since his own departure in 2013?

If Siebold does get the flick I'd take Brad Arthur. The back end of his career at the Eels was underwhelming but their squad is crap

He was head coach there for 10 years which is more than enough time to create the team he wanted... if their squad is awful, then surely as head coach he is at least significantly responsible for that?

Some other coaches like Seibold and Payten inherit teams with a top-heavy salary cap with players on long deals and have to work around that.

Poor Seibold you have to feel sorry for him as @Scorpio says
Because Seibold Inherited a ready made top 8 team which included not one but two state of Origin Leaders an Elite Fullback , Speedy back line and Big Bopper Forwards

It's not sideboards fault. Penn is the one that always go's the budget option. I can see him now on Pittwater road with a sandwich board - Coach required - Previous experience not required - Happy turn a blind eye to the past. Apply within..

From what i read on here Jake is washed up, DCE is a headless chook, turbo should be medically retired and the Big Bopper Forwards are like dinosaurs!

So our plan for future success is to recruit players from the last placed club of 3 years and recruit a failed and sacked coaching staff from the 2nd last club. Sounds about right for the Manly Way.

The Eels strike me as having a very dysfunctional board. I doubt he had the team he wanted.
