Yeah they are as inconsistent as us & have lost by 13+ 5 times this year. 5 points behind us on the competition ladder but to some people that’s firing?

Des made the top 4 was sacked the next season as was toovey. This season he has the team he wants having let many of the successful 2021 Ball and Matts team go to other clubs.

Add the outstanding second byes Roosters are 22pts and 4th,Cowboys 20pts and 6th, and WE are 19pts and 7th in the Top 8.
But even in saying that “I’m proud of the boys” Siebold is a soft c..k, and not the DNA we need at Manly.
Could you imagine our team with a Bellamy “no nonsense “ style coach leading the way instead of this “pussyfoot” approach we currently have.

Could you imagine our team with a Bellamy “no nonsense “ style coach leading the way instead of this “pussyfoot” approach we currently have.

Bellamy is Bellamy, but there are heaps of 'no-nonsense' style coaches who only have very mediocre results.
Finding the right coach is all but impossible, so historically Manly has produced it's own top coaches from former greats who were tough and bled for Manly. But even that doesn't always work, Thommo and Tooves for example.
Seibs is under contract for now, lets see if this year shows improvement from last year, if so sacking him without a better replacement would be cutting of our nose to spite our face.

He issue was he lent too much on youth and had no leaders.

Wait, wasn't the performance brave, and something to be proud of given all our players missing? That's what I've been told to feel, anyway? Surely Cooper Cronk, Braith Anasta, Gordon Tallis (who have all played for Australia) don't know as much as our Silvertail bretheren? Surely those ex-players and I are missing something. Come ON guys, we didn't give up, and tried !!!

Well, Cameron suggested Tooves. And others have suggested Arthur. I suggested both. Last time that occurred, we were winning plenty of games. Of coaches that have coached 10 games or more, Toovey is 40th - ever ! That's pretty impressive, given there have been 325 coaches (that's top 8-9% of coaches ever).

Hey Ryan - we all love Tooves but he inherited a pretty good team - which I would attribute to his impressive win percentage.
