Just wondering if his goal kicking is around 85% or is he just a good solid kicker like Matt Wright around 70-75%? Also sounds like he had alot of interest good re signing.

Absolute gun but don't be excited about his goal kicking if yesterday was anything to go by! I think Anderson is the 20's first choice in that department.

Great re-signing though, I mentioned yesterday that he needs to be locked up, so glad they had the pen handy.

How good was his hit late in the 2nd half to stop an attacking raid!
The other centre Kioa was highly rated by the Sharks and they are dirty we signed him. Looks like he could turn into a T-Rex centre/2nd rower bulldozing type.

I can't see why he, or anyone with talent, can't practice their goalkicking in the off-season and return as a reliable kicker. Golfers hit hundreds of thousands of balls to gain consistency. The club should give him, and other likely candidates, an incentive to become top goalkickers. It's a specialist role, and one that should be among the first selected.

Sounds logical but think to make a good kicker you have to want to be a kicker

More than just practice and desire is needed

Coached many many top level base ballets and all could throw hard and straight but no matter how many thousands of balls they threw not all could be pitchers

In saying that, the ones that can still need to bloody practice in order to be better

Both centres were good yesterday but I must admit I thought the same about Kioa - could make a good forward presuming he can handle the step up in class and the defensive workload - unfortunately many don't.

Funa looked handy too - be keen to see how they both go against the comp favourites next week.

Isn't want and desire kind of the same thing?

So you coached players through throwing 1000's of baseballs and they still couldn't be pitchers?

#sack Go Manly!

lol - I'm just kidding! Sorry :giggle::angel:

I saw the stats when watching some of the game yesterday and he was like 72/73%. His kicking looked as convincing as Walkers.

DCE needs to practice in the off season and do the goal kicks next season.

He is a natural imo and can kick with either foot depending on the side of the field ( kidding about this) >:)

Mike Eden successfully kicked goals with either foot, depending on the side of the ground he was kicking from.
