I actually had to parse it through a 1337 speak translator online to get the second sentence. I read the first though. But I have an excuse. I am in IT and a web developor.....what's yours

So you're saying that in days of yore there were pilots who thought that the yaw on their areoplane could be adjusted if your ground crew used their tools to tighten or loosen wing bolts.
