Teenage Manly star to Knights

His high school coach said he was,but I have not heard anyone else say so.
I don't think we could even guarantee him a spot in our Flegg side this year, after Ball finishes up Humphreys,Weekes,Koula would all get a nod before him. With Harris,Vaega,Ala and Kopa all doing well it would be hard for him to leapfrog them, even if Koula and Weekes play a higher level you still have Tito and Brown from the Ball side who would challenge him for a spot.
Turner,Lehmann,Lawler and Oostendorp currently in Flegg are all good players too.You are right I guess that the Knights guaranteed him a spot in Flegg for the rest of the year and a development spot for next year(doubt we could guarantee him a development spot for next year)
You seem to have some wraps on this junior halfback Zane Harris , Just wondering what are the attributes from him that have caught your attention and how he might compare with Humphreys potential at the present time and from your observation .

Just my opinion Al...he is a leader, walking into a side in your first year and made a captain.Has all the kicks,is a good athlete, can run the ball and has a passing game, seems smart on the field, makes good decisions....has the physical size etc.....I think he only left Roosters because they went all in on Walker.
In regards to Humphrey,he is a good athlete, but don't know if he has the all round game for next level,by that I mean a real organizer. In saying that I guess it depends on what you want in a halfback....Cleary/Reynolds or DCE/Hunt

great summary and appreciated , Good to have promising halves coming through and with some real ability [ though of course realize that i st grade requirements is a different kettle of fish] . Like the athletic attributes or references , doesn "t always make an assured top player but a good base to work off and to develop any skill level to an optimum stage .

I watched the stream of our SG Ball match vs Souths, when we were under pressure and struggling and he wasn't very noticeable in that game, in fact he was quite frustrating to watch at times. I am sure he is talented but I am yet to hear of a young kid that is coming through that is not mentioned as the next superstar. This young bloke could end up being a good player, but judging from that game I watched he is pretty much the same as most of the young blokes his age. Not going to bag him out because he is only a kid, but I won't be getting upset because he signed with Knights put it that way.
