Team Vs Storm next week. (Pre-Game Day Discussion)

I really would have thought Nate would be playing if he wasn't 'sore' or being 'managed' because we desperately need some defensive toughness in the middle this week. But if his knees are THAT dicey I'm worried because he's contracted next year too.. Could be another $500K sitting on the sideline as a spectator in 2018.. Last thing we bloody need!

I'll be fishing on the Cooper Creek near Windorah, the Sat TV will be operational but not sure I'll have Internet ( bloody hell how will I cope).

Have to admit that I am nervous for us in this game

I just did not see the performance against the dragons coming and not sure if we will bounce back well enough

The side still looks strong and hoping that Dylan, Tom and Darcey step up and erase last weeks performance

Last weeks effort and the fact it is the scum will mean the intensity will be there. If Bromwich and Munster play we may come up short, if not it's a toss up.

Quite often Storm games are low scoring slugfests so hope Dylan has his kicking boots on which may be a reason to give Hastings some game time in the 9 to see what we have bought with this kid.

Storms defence has been great this year but it has had to be good as they have been making plenty more errors than usual.Control the ball and better attacking options in the red zone(which has been our Achilles heel for a while)and we can win on the back of effort.

Oh and our wingers need to be great defensively. Their wingers swing so many games back to the Storm with individual brilliance when they are in trouble,especially the Fijian.He is special.

Slater comes into their line often, so bring back the kick and chase

The main worry is sCam taking an angled step from dummy half.
For some reason both markers always follow him and he just turns the ball back to a runner who now has no one in front if him. 😎

Must be simple to keep the front marker stationery and only have the second player tackle the dummy half

Sunday's Sharks game was a bashfest.
They would still be sore and peeved at losing

Hopefully Hastings gets some decent game time this time round.

I would have him replace Api for the final 10-15 minutes of each half.

I realize that he is not typically known as a hooker, but his passing, short kickng game and overall playmaking & reading of the game could be a huge point of difference in the latter stages.

Api gets through a huge amount of defence and he is not as sharp as he can be as the game draws on.
