I Like your team.

I would still consider Croker at 14. He is a decent defender, can pass and can cover backline and hooker. Api is a 80min hooker and if need Croker can play 15 mins if needed.

Jet ski and lane can both cover injuries in the forwards.

Lussick is gone, that's evident by him not playing, so no point naming him.

I'd have a bench of Croker, Lane, paseka and Jet ski.

Also suli bigger issue is attitude, and hopefully he gets things together under baz.

Respectfully disagree re Croker on the bench. All I have seen is solid defence - nothing more. If he is being groomed allegedly as a long term 5/8 he needs to ply his trade in reggies this year and get his s*it together, rather than playing on the pine in firsts.

Our defense has been a joke for 3 or 4 seasons now. I cringe every time a team enters our 20.

We have the softest draw imaginable and have beaten 2 teams who are a combined 1 win from 10.

100 % agree re our 'red zone' defence..'Deers in headlights' spring to mind. We skuttle backwards and sideways like headless chooks with no organization or talk whatsoever. That's a coaching issue that hasn't been addressed.

Snake, any insights into these two? I've only seen them play once and actually thought Sipley looked more likely to be 'ready'..but as I said, that was only one game. Would be interested to hear other people's thoughts on them.

Paseka has a very low work rate from what I've seen of him. Dose have some venom in his carries but there isn't many of them. Just needs to get himself more involved!

Might go ok 10-15 mins either side of half time to give Marty a break then. Short sharp burst rather than longer time, a bit like AFB last year.

Tent need only play in 15-minute bursts. He deserves his chance, and we'll never know how good he is until he plays first grade.
We know how Frankenstein plays and no poster is happy with his performance. What's to lose by giving Tent a go?

If your on 600 /800 a year i don't think handing back a car would be the end of the world. Most are probably still leasing them through their employers which is legal anyway .

And if my employer had given me a car, then taken it back and told me I had to lease one, I'd be a little cranky.

Probably have 6 players on 600 plus . If there leasing through the club well it wont cost them much and can claim it i suppose.

Sipley is renown for a lack of leg speed. Paseka hasn't been setting the world on fire but Blacktown are really struggling because the team has been decimated as a result of the FG injury crisis (and their own injury crisis) and Hastings promotion to FG.

Personally I wouldn’t have brought him across in the first place. Not saying a wrong decision was made as he had a fairly strong season last year til finals came around but from what I’ve heard he was actually on 700k a year. I believe for 150k a year he would be worth every cent. I have a feeling it’s more around the 300k mark though
