At the game live, it was apparent that Turbo was acting as the on-field captain instead of DCE. He looks like he still cares, but has no idea how to get the rest of the team to care.

I'd say the rest of the team tuned out after that prime time announcement

• I would rest Turbo. He obviously doesn't want to get injured by having to defend.
• I'd still be resting Jake. His health is more important than our dead season.
• On current form I'd be dropping Saab, Hopoate and DCE and replace them with Koula at fullback, Navren Willett on the wing and Joey Walsh at halfback.
• I'd keep Brooks only because with him being here in 2026 ... I know we're getting Fogarty but getting a combo going with young Walsh wouldn't be a bad thing.
• We really don't have any other back rowers of first grade quality. Burbo I'd keep anyway, but Waddell I'd wish that I could drop.

Well at the very least I might as well give someone a laugh reading this 🤷‍♂️
