We need to use Marty more effectively and that means other options to add to our pack, the big weakness over the last 8 rounds of this season was our defense around the ruck and we conceded too many metres in that area and as a result over 28 points a game. We really need a guy who can make a solid 30 tackles and 100 metres a game consistently to help guys like Marty and Jake who hit that mark all the time.

Warriors fans I know were furious that Sipley wasn't getting a run last year, and also that we nabbed him from them. Was making 10-12m per carry and steamrolling blokes each week, and can rattle them up in defence too

Exactly - There were certain games the opposition had a game plan - stop Marty - Stop the Manly momentum....he needs to play off the back of a good carry like Taumololo does up Nth.....as destructive as he is - if there are less numbers an the tackle, with the defence already backpeddling, he will bend the line and also have far better opportunity for a quality offload.

Indeed, all the left nuts that get put on the line on this forum has most jumpy.
I wonder why Sipley wasn't getting a run - was it his attitude, injuries, or the coach? Doesn't look like fitness was an issue. Agree, hopefully he goes well for us as we could use him in the engine room.
Kearney is an absolute fool, terrible coach so that's where I would lay it but not sure what the issue behind that was. Kearney has a history of blacklisting players and not giving them any chance, Matai for the Kiwis was one of those
