Tap restarts. Opinions.

As a team we look to be instructed more often than not to pass two in from tap restarts to a forward that is then usually monstered by the defence.

This usually ends up being equal to or behind the advantage line.

What's your opinions on this?

Surely a kapow or Tafua type dong a spud Carroll (running like a bullet)and taking the ball literally from the man tapping the ball as he taps the ball would get us on the front foot.

After defending with only 40% possession they are probably thankful that a back had the brains to give them a break.
