I wish Zorba had added the word 'originally' to "Tanginoa's recovery from an ACL injury has stunned everyone, with the injury originally expected to sideline him for the rest of the season. It would've put a whole lot more meaning to Tanginoa being 'due back as early as next week'.

Doesnt matter if it was ruptured, small tear or completely torn he would need a reconstruction regardless. Ive had 2 acl tears and there is no way hed be close to returning. He'd be not long out of a knee brace. Maybe a slight chance he'd be back in September for the finals if we got there

When has someone ever come back so soon from an acl? I hope its true but i dunno about this one

It's possible if he had the LARS procedure, Nathan Gardner from the Sharks had this procedure about six or seven years ago, and returned after about 10 weeks.
it's more radical and probably not recommended for sportsmen

It’s simple - if he is close to returning he never injured his ACL, it would have been another issue with his knee. We’ll see in soon enough I guess, wouldn’t hold my breath though!
