Tallyn Da Silva

I know people are excited but let's be real I can't see him joining us. If I was a player (not a fan) we come across as unstable regarding the coach. Hope I'm wrong but that could cost us.

I think Large may end up a really good Lock.. big call but Yeo type.. the kid is still a kid but a big body good speed and great hands
Think he may or would always prefer the open spaces just wide of the ruck but who knows down the track and when he hopefully has been entrenched as a definite keeper in the Manly i st grade

Money could be an issue as well. Manly will have a bit to offer but would "t be very advisable with overs .
Eels a bit in the kitty as well with Brown leaving and no Galvin now but signing De Bellin .
Lot more interesting then i first thought and if some sort of a decent shot at getting him , certainly would have exceeded my initial expectations

I sometimes wonder if the players don’t talk amongst themselves to find out the true story.

The media , and fans talk about , and hear , a one sided story.

Behind the scenes the players may well be laughing at the carry on.

Or , you may be right , he rings his old WT’s mate and he says “ don’t come here it’s an absolute ****fight “.

Who knows ???

I think they want him mate but Api is too important for them to let go. I guess it’s like a Humphreys/Weekes situation for us. Would have been nice to keep them but it just doesn’t work out with the players ahead
Yep. The last club that let Api go in order to retain a young "star" ended up regretting it. For years and years and years…

Hmm I think we are a chance because Hales is a previous coach of Da Silva’s through high school. We also have a bona fide opening, whereas Para have Smith to share the role. There’s also the appeal of the Northern Beaches for a kid that grew up in the burbs. It’s a great lifestyle. There’s appeal for sure.

Maybe they are offering the opportunity to play under a premiership winning hooker ie Ennis?

📬 MAIL: TALLYN DA SILVA TO MANLY?

Sources close to the situation have suggested to me that Manly are on the verge of securing Tigers hooker Tallyn Da Silva, who is expected to make his final appearance for the club this Friday.

While Parramatta and Newcastle have remained in the hunt, there’s now strong mail pointing to a Sea Eagles switch, potentially mid-season.

⚠️ Nothing confirmed yet so take with a grain of salt, but talks are said to be advanced.
