Supporting your club

The dude I watched the game with up here on Saturday night is a Gold member of the club. Has been since he was a little tacker. He lives up here & barely gets to a game. But he renews his gold membership every year, and I quote 'to support the boys'.
Now that's what I call a supporter.

That's pretty Cool. I only have the Country wings, live in Darwin & never get down to see a live game.
But to paraphrase the JFK quote, haha,
I look at it as a case of,
"Ask not what your club can do for you but, what you can do for your club".
Sounds corny,I know. But that's how I view it.
The stuff you get in the M'ship pack is just a bonus, I don't use any of it anyway.

Great effort(s) to be a long distance member. Not everyone can afford it but those that can should.

We're all members at my place but I thought my daughter had gone too far when she got our kelpie a membership. I told her it was a waste of money but she argued that "it all goes to the club"

A commendable attitude indeed. One that I remind her of whenever she has run out of money and comes running to dad. 🙂
