We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. If you paid for premium membership and are still seeing ads please let me know and the email you used against PayPal and I cam manually verify and upgrade your account.
Its full (285445) dammit, so I take it we're not having our normal comp this year, I haven't been up to date with what's going on for a while with being in and out of hospital for the last 12 to 18 months.

Actually I've been playing it for a while, before that I was only interested in two things.

You get a salary cap and you have to choose a team. Its a balance between the top players and fitting in cheapies as we call them that are new players. The players receive points for everything from tries to forced drop outs. Its a load of fun and makes other games more interesting. Give it a try you might be very good at it and you can win prizes money etc
