I'm planning to be at the game, but by 7:30pm Saturday I'm not sure what sort of state I will be in.

Agree. One of Perenara’s howlers, Manly V Roosters, was penalising Thompson for a high tackle when even the commentators said the Roosters player slipped.

I recall Gus Gould saying, that if you got an NRL referee to paint your window, he’d paint the frame then say, well, TECHNICALLY the pane is a part of the window,
then commence to paint the glass.
