I will be surprised if Lawnton is fit enough for 80. 80 minutes match fit is very different to the training track and cameo's of 20/30 mins.
Remember it’s Lawton ( no N)

But of course ( as you’d be well aware ) there’s a Lawnton right here ! ( for everyone else a suburb here )

Yes he is, when Addo-Carr is beside him on the wing. When he's not playing, like tonight, Olam tends to be like a lot of the PNG players from the 80s and 90s ... a bit lost as to what he's meant to do out there.
He played well last week when Addo Carr was out injured

Massive out. yes, is zippy but will not give as good ball as Crocker. Crocker has been constantly hitting foz and dce with early ball and knowing when to run those back line moves.
He has been very good at picking when to run and pass and his pass selection either to a forward or half has been very good.

Hoping Im wrong, but might be a little clunky in this area tonight having the number 9 who has not missed any games all year not being there.

The only thing I’ve noticed is when he has come on in games to give the Frog a rest , if anything we look a bit sharper.

It’s the “ can he go for 80” that I’m more worried about

I believe that's why Des has gone for Siro over Suli on the bench. Walker, DCE and Foz can slot into dummy half at any time meaning that the halves are always covered, while Siro is better suited than Suli to the forwards role that Lawton usually plays.

Shoe, and Siro at a stretch, also provide that halves cover.

You couldn't have said it any better. His passing is very underrated and a big reason why the attack has flowed so well this year. We get great depth of his long passes off the ruck.

I just hope when foz or particular dce is in position or on the run calling for it Lawton can give him good early ball.
