First Grader
BRISBANE prop Petero Civoniceva is clear to play in Sunday's grand final against Melbourne, after the match review committee only charged him with a grade one careless high tackle today.
Civoniceva had been on tenterhooks all weekend after his high shot on Bulldogs star Sonny Bill Williams in Friday night's semi final win.
But the low grading to the charge means Civoniceva escapes suspension and will only receive carryover points as a penalty.
St George Illawarra forward Justin Poore fared much worse.
Poore was charged with a grade two dangerous throw from the Dragons' semi-final loss to Melbourne on Saturday, and faces four to six weeks suspension to start next year.
