One of Hasler's characteristics was that he assessed who he thought could get the job done and he stuck with them. At times in the face of widespread criticism. Rarely was there much tweaking of team composition. His loyalty to his players and his canny judgment of players' potential was rewarded with fantastic success.
It will certainly be very interesting to see if Toovey has a slightly different approach.
