I hated all the chat about Alex Johnson passing people and potentially getting Ken Irvine etc…what about the bloke who is the only forward?
You can say he ran off cliffy well how come there were no other forwards in the 50 years cliffy played pre beaver? Also the kid could hit in defence

But if he went a further two years after that he could make 400 games , WOW

If by chance we win the big one in the next 2 years, then I think he'll definitely retire. Otherwise I wouldn't be surprised if he goes past 2025, past Beaver's 349 games and even makes 400.

Bearing in mind Cam Smith retired at 37 and Gallen at 38, and they're both forwards. Cherry looks after his body, is super fit and is such a disciplined professional which will be crucial to his longevity.

However, it all depends on the amount and duration offered to him after 2025 which determines his future but I wouldn't put it past him to keep playing and exceed Beaver's games.
