Until he gets a chance somewhere else, we'll never know how much is him and how much is the players & culture etc. I tend to think if he'd stayed at the storm and hypothetically had Bellamy moved on, he would do better than he has.

It has to be said, the eels are a rabble with 0% moral. It would take a coach like Bellamy to go in there and shake the place up. Up until this year I'd have included Bennett however he hasn't been too successful so far at the knights.

It was going to take Bennett a year or two to sort Smiths mess out. This is year 1. He'll go through the team and cut a whole lot more at the end of this year
