State of origin thread

Has any thought been made into the most blocked user making threads like state of origin where ALL those who have the serial pest blocked ( the only way to make the site viable) cannot see the thread?
Usually it's not a problem but when threads are merged because they are unknowingly duplicates they "disappeared" from view.
Being that origin is one of the biggest events of the year it is a bit disappointing.

Perhaps AI can make an alternate Silvertails for everyone but the pest.

I tried to help out by merging the threads but allowing your's to be the one that the other one was merged into.

but then I noticed it still went in date of posting order.

Unless @Dan knows how to do it, or @Jethro has a solution.... I can only suggest you unblock the poster for the duration of origin and skim past the offending posts.
