State of Origin Game III (2017)

Ok , yes they had the spine
but .... They also had Scott, Inglis, Thurston Boyd etc etc etc out
Plus the Aging roster and with Queensland it was like age shall not weary them as they competed tirelessly against their younger NSW opponents and wore them out and out enthused them. This is the relentless spirit within that NSW don't believe exists .
We had the bigger and better pack and every one knows that forwards are the ones that lay the platform to win the big matches .
Before the match we were favourites . On Paper we had the superior team
Everyone except Queensland expected the Blues to win
How then do we explain not the loss but the total capitulation ???
It goes beyond Queensland's spine on the field .
It is about Queensland's relentless spirit
Nsw see this as a myth but as long as Queensland believe in them selves , they will just keep on prevailing and winning against the odds
We NSW had 12 years of excuses but we never seem to come up with the solutions

Thank-you for not so succinctly presenting the total BS that SOO is 🙂

Just have to put this here. I was in tears reading it LOL

Someone put this on Mitchell Pearce's Wikipedia page :rofl::rofl:

"The playing future of Mitchell Pearce looks bright, with a possible shift to AFL after strong interest was shown from the GWS Giants and Sydney Swans. It is reported they were impressed with his ability to consistently hit the Queensland fullback and wingers on the chest with his 5th tackle kicks. The Wallabies are also desperate for his signature after he has demonstrated several traits inherent to Australian Rugby culture, such as losing important matches, missing tackles, getting bullied by his opponents, looking clueless in attack, and habitually disappointing his supporters on the big stage. Finally, it appears his movie star good looks will pay off. Directors are interested in Pearce replacing Rowan Atkinson for the upcoming ‘Johnny English 3’ due to his experience in somehow repeatedly getting selected in an important role despite seemingly being inept and incapable of performing it."

Read the rest of his page here. I think whoever edited it last doesn't like him. Just a hunch hehehe

Sad that it's come to this. Wayne Pearce writing stuff like that about his own son.

Absoo
I forgot Mansour, had to change that. Possibly they would get lapped, maybe likely. However it's time Try something else. Turbo at fullback with Mansour and Hayn on the wings imo is an improvement (Hayne at centre is and always will be a stupid choice, he's much more comfortable on the wing.) Latrell Mitchell has been killing it in the centres and next year will have another 12 months experience. He will develop into some player imo and Walker is self explanatory. I have always had a feeling that Austin's size and running game is tailor made for Origin. The most successful NSW teams had strong big running five eights (Timmins, Fittler, Barrett, Daley the list goes on and on. He might not be having the best season, but look at last year, he can play. Cleary has an awesome kicking game and obvious potential. Vaughn has been powerful all year, should have been picked this series. Klemmer has been great. API's defends at least as good as Peats and offers much more in attack. Cordner was injured tonight but has been a standout. Angus Crichton is one of the most exciting backrowers to burst onto the scene and will play Origin. Jake is Jake and the bench can be tinkered with.
Absolutely spot on champ, nothing I disagree with. This team are a bunch of imposters.

The likes of Meninga, Lewis, Smith and Slater are the smug bast$rds that make me hate Queensland.

Will agree to disagree as I think that team would get lapped.
You wouldn't happen to have a list of players available for NSW from the 25 roster of each NRL team?

Be great if you could sort it by where their team is placed in the NRL, then by position played in a descending list.

If you could add some markers so that art galleries, rehab jobs, snowflakes and nancy boys can be identified and eliminated and...........

voila a NSW team you can be proud of emerges pretty quickly.

the question is why such a team is so different to what is paraded now?

Lookout Walters is talking up Pearce on NRL360.

QLD want him there next year, thats for sure.

That's kinda like a weird a*se money ball.
Like.

Ok, two of those guys you mentioned (Inglis and Boyd) are fullbacks - I'm pretty sure they had an adequate/equivalent replacement in Studs-Up Slater. Scott is not far off retirement, so you really don't lose a great deal by swapping him out for younger, fresher legs - it may have been time for that to happen anyway. And yeah - Thurston out...and they had the luxury of throwing in a guy who - guess what?! Is part of the 'spine' at club level with the three other integral members of Qld's spine!

Compare to the NSW spine of Tiger-Shark-Rooster-Titan...

BLUES forward Jake Trbojevic spoke for all of NSW by declaring: “Next year can’t come quick enough.”

“This will hurt for a while — I really want to get back out there next year,” Trbojevic said.

“It’s such a long time in between each series. Obviously after the second game (a loss) we only had to wait three weeks to play again and fix things up.

yadda yadda yadda

How about a simple solution. Start with Jake and Klemmer to hold the middle for 20 mins Bring fifita on after 20 mins and instruct him not to run sideways in the centers.

Choose 1 fullback, 2 specialist centres and 2 wingers.

Well,Queeeeenslaaaaanders in Noosa take a bow,not only did you not give us resident roaches any crap but you were quite humble in your win, however having said that our beautiful tourist hotspot is full of Mexicans and kiwis atm and I know that they know nothing of the wonderful Qld domination of SOO.
Bring on next year, maybe we should run our U16 side, they know how to play for the full game.

Buzz will have an expose of the Breezer Bros going on an 8 hour Lennox Head Bender on Friday prior to SOO :banghead:

Also Loz told Fifi to start off the bench, he threw a hissy fit and Loz relented 😡
