Qld always does the big Origin moments better, and nsw keep doing nsw stuff.

Such a pity it’s the huge money spinner it is because I’d love it to be just one game , a bye weekend for all teams , in QLD one year , in NSW the next.

1 game , winner takes all.

Never going to happen as it’s worth gazillions to the league but I can dream.

I used to be really invested in SOO but not these days , personally I think it’s rigged to get it 1-all ( if they can ) , the 9-0 penalty count at half time in game 2 to QLD almost proves this.

We’ll just to even the score, I’m blue and QLD showed the spirit they always do, down 1 nil, step up Slatter, he did, QLD deserved to win the series, to come from behind and win the decider in enemy territory is all class, they smashed the blues last night and throughly deserved their win, thought Deardon was outstanding, as I said originally his made for the origin arena, I was also happy to see him named player of the series, happy also for Money to come out on top in light of his week, so congratulations qld.

Not sure if I am just getting older or something but I thought last night's game was a bit unengaging, just wasn't very exciting given it was a SOO decider. Blues played mostly horribly I thought and Queensland very clearly the better team. Kudos to Slater, he made big decisions and they worked.

The bloke reeks of negative energy, passive and lacks ruthlessness as a coach.

Agree, origin doesn’t have the same hate factor it used to have. And when the first penalty of the game is for a hand slap that grazed someone’s chin, you know it isn’t the origin we used to know. And if Klein is the best ref, the others must be pretty bad, and I don’t care what “KPIs” they use. And the final insult is the channel 9 monopoly that forces us to listen to the worlds most boring play-by-play guy and his posse of moronic sidekicks who sound like they are sitting around a table at the pub watching the game on TV.

I thought it was one of the best state of origin games ever played. It was a high quality game of football especially from QLD. I was on the edge of my seat the entire 2nd half with NSW throwing everything they had at QLD, but QLD repelled almost everything NSW threw at them.

Damn QLD were so good. It’s very rare to see such a perfect performance from a team, especially a team that’s been put together to play a mini series.

Last nights state of origin broke records. TV, streaming, and media ratings got smashed. Everybody is talking about the game it was one of the greatest rugby league spectacles ever.

Well done to all involved. What a showcase.

Got lucky there. Half the problem seems to be jobs for the boys, look at the who’s who of life after football, if their the most qualified for the roles then so be it, personally it seems a bit off to me, anyway tis what it is, here’s hoping NSW can find a better option going forward, considering his already declared his intention to return next year, his no coach full stop as his record indicates.
