I just saw Lateral at the gym he chipped me about my Manly training shirt. He is actually a good bloke and he was the one that initiated the chat. He is out for another 8 weeks. Between him and Tom you might get a full season. 🤷‍♂️

No I reckon if Walker was going to be out he would have been cut by now. It will be Ben T or Barney Rubble to miss out. Personally I would like to see Ben T running off some of the schu’s no look passes like they did in the lower grades.

Be interesting to see who defends in Haumole's spot. With Koula and a new back-rower on our problem side, we should expect a lot of traffic headed their way.

I think Des is giving Walker every chance to prove his fitness and it will likely be decided at the end of the pre-game warm up. If Walker gets through, he'll play.

So you're right, it could be Ben Turbo who misses should Shoe be in the XVII, although I think we're pushing our luck with Walker's leg*. A week off could be the best thing for him and we all know that Ben Turbo would handle wherever they played him.

* in my head I can hear the [Seinfeld] Soup Nazi saying "You're pushing your luck little man" to Des

Can anyone realistically claim that Manly are a better side if Foran is out of the side and Schuster is at 5/8? Surely any dribbler can see that Foran has probably been our best player so far... he has had a red hot go every game and Schu at second row and Foran at 5/8 is a far far better side with them both in the team for this year. Now personally I would have Foran at half, Schu and 5/8 and DCE at hooker - that wont happen but anyone claiming that Schu needs to go to 5/8 this unless that happens is simply hallucinating.

Sure would of liked Gaucamole and Ailoi in this team tonight, but alas it's not to be. We'll rise to the challenge though, and we'll take Sths out.
