Geez I hope this an omen, as Flegg are well down on troups, with a lot of Shield players in the side.

It looks like it will be dry at kick off for 1st grade and I am not sure with the backlines which team would prefer a dry track.

In the forwards, I seriously cannot imagine Toff and Waddlell playing on a slow track, as the chance of injury is so much greater. If they do play, and get through it, obviously our medico’s are geniuses.

Talau in 5/8. I like that. His confidence is high so he could really shine in the halves. Paulo worries me. Maybe another shot in first grade will see him not take things for granted this time round.

A strong and controlled first half by the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles laid the platform for a convincing 34-6 victory over South Sydney today in round 16 of the Jersey Flegg Cup.

All of a sudden I will be watching this one now. Kayo sent me a free month subscription. I will be sitting on the floor right Infront of the TV. Shame it is going to be raining during the match. Somehow we are going to have to take them on directly up the middle. Kicks for touch could be the best option tonight but I am sure we will be tested under the high ball. We really need to get some good kick pressure happening tonight to throw them off a bit

I still don’t see who will play in the halves with Brooks in this squad. Kind of reminds me of when Des played Tevita Funa at 6 against the Knights… and we all know how that went.
