Sickening feeling isn't it. Hoping that we don't get knocked out 2 years running by the disgusting vermin but knowing the insane refereeing decisions that will come will contribute to it AGAIN

Unfortunately I can't share your optimism.
Why will Jorge miraculously be able to defuse high kicks, or turn and chase balls kicked over his head before the speedy Souths backline players?
Why will our moribund backline be able to match it with the backline I rate as the finest in the NRL (on paper, at least).
Souffs will score points from kicks. Nothing surer.
We won't score points from kicks. Nothing surer.
There is hope that our forwards will dominate, but when have they dominated a team this season? They are a competitive lot, but are Duck and Jetski really up to NRL standard?
I think DESpicable has given up on season 2020, and has given his non-selected 11 players time off to prepare for 2021.

I get no satisfaction from being correct. But if I can see the problems and offer potential solutions why can't DESpicable?

Bring back Toovey. Hardest done by coach in the history of rugby league.

Toovey was as antiquated in tactics and gameplay as des is now, just had a much better team.

The last non-finals game in which Manly got 0 points was Rd 2 in 1999 vs Rorters at SFS. Lost 46-0. That's also the highest ever score against a Manly team that got 0. Ever. All the way back to 1947.

Completely agree but if Des had dropped players at least they would know that if they don't perform they won't be picked. But they know Des is loyal so nothing to fear.

The season was a bust weeks ago. Each week, they’ll start the game hoping things go their way but if they don’t, there’s virtually no confidence they can hang in there and win. The heads drop and that’s it. It’s just a matter of how many points they’ll concede before the time is up.
Apart from the 2 Newcastle games and the Cowboys & Parramatta game, that’s been the story. This season can’t finish quick enough.

I'd get rid of him now, he's done his dash as far as I'm concerned, we couldn't do any worse with Cartwright holding the reigns for the rest of the season
