Thursday night was a night to remember for 23-year-old Trent Peoples, however not so much for the Rabbitohs’ administration.

The 32-12 loss to the hands of the Brisbane Broncos is the least of their worries amid revelations the club reportedly played Peoples on debut despite not being officially registered by the NRL.

That is according to The Daily Telegraph’s Phil Rothfield, who received confirmation from the NRL that the Salary Cap Department is looking into the oversight.

I use to hang out with Scott Wilson due to association through a bloke who played for the Bulldogs. He enjoyed partying as well as we all did, but that was the nature of the times in the late 80's early 90's

haha thanks I do remember one night getting to watch Dogs & Eagles play at Belmore by invitation in a private box at the ground, Manly lost but I was invited into the Dogs change rooms to have beers with the players, then kicking on to the Leagues club with players for more beers, disco and girls. Big night that was!
