GF just said she herd on a news update that souths are being forced to move to the central coast.

Is this good or bad for the Manly/Orford negotiations.

I've already argued that they can't be forced but she is adamit with what she herd.

Orford has stated that he wants to play out of the Central Coast. The NRL has about 8 million to a club that will relocate there!

However I can't imagine Souths signing the Telstra Deal and then reneging. I would doubt the truth of this one.

They had something on Ch9 news, a Danny Weidler report, I wasn't really listening though. Piggins had his say. They can't be forced to move. Last ditch play to get Orford perhaps.

Shane Richardson (Souths CEO) was interviewed on Ch 9 news and he said that Souths were under huge pressure from the NRL to relocate to the Central Coast. He said that the pressure was obvioulsy emanating from News Ltd given that they are the true owners of the NRL. Further said that difficult times for Souths in recruiting players, huge money on offer to relocate and the board would be negligent if they did not explore the possibilities of relocating.
